Hurworth Cottage was built in 1855 by Harry Atkinson, future Premier of Aotearoa New Zealand. It is connected to stories across Taranaki. Don’t miss the charcoal graffiti from the 1860’s. Enjoy the small garden with views towards the coast and bush with a view to the maunga. Guided house tours available. Bus tours by arrangement.
