Taranaki Cathedral is the oldest church in Aotearoa, currently closed for earthquake strengthening, but the grounds remain open. Visitors are welcome to wander our gardens with the historical graveyard & Waikato memorial, explore the exhibition screens in Te Whare Hononga and visit the vicarage for light refreshments. Gala on Sat 2nd November. Koha donation to Taranaki Cathedral Remediation. Buses welcome by arrangement.
