The Rainforest Eatery is open 8.30am – 4pm daily during the Taranaki Fringe Garden Festival.
Over seven decades Pukeiti has built up one of the world’s biggest and most diverse rhododendron collections. They, along with other exotics, create an explosion of colour amidst lush native rainforest and mountain streams. The 360 ha property also boasts an all-weather visitor centre, a great range of free, family-orientated activities and walking tracks for all fitness levels. Other highlights include the Kids Treehouse Trail, the Fitness Trail, the popular Rainforest Eatery and the Piwakawaka Hut which can be booked through the Council website.
